歴史学A 「映画『日本国憲法』を観ての感想」
- この映画では、日本国憲法について、世界中のいろいろな分野の人々のインタビューが紹介されており、日本国憲法を世界的に考えることができる映画である。 私は今まで日本国憲法の持つ意義や憲法改正問題について深く考えたことはなかった。そのため、憲法の基本原理の一つである「平和主義（戦争の放棄）」についても、日本の国内では現在戦争が起こっていないので、「日本は戦争とは無縁な平和な国である」と漠然と認識し、原理が守られていると考えていた。しかし、日本がイラクへ自衛隊を派遣したという事実は、憲法9条で規定されている「戦争放棄と戦力の不保持」に反していると考えることもできる。「自衛」と銘打っていても、自衛隊の存在を認めている以上、日本は完全に戦力を放棄したとは言えず、いつか日本も戦争をすることになるかもしれないと言っても対しても過言ではないのだ。 この映画を観て、国外の人々からの日本国憲法に対する意見や想い、また戦争を体験した人々の貴重な話を聞くことができた。中でも、慰安婦の人の体験談は、同じ女性としては身につまされる話だった。戦時中、日本軍によって強制的に慰安婦にさせられた人々は、辛い思いをしても家族にも言えず、泣き寝入りするしかなかったそうだ。慰安婦の人々は、体だけでなく心にも傷を負い、そのトラウマは今も消えないのだ。戦争によって、日本は国内だけでなく国外の人々にとっても重大な過ちを犯したのである。 このような歴史的事実を知り、私は今まで憲法や平和について真剣に考えてこなかったことや、何の持論もないことを反省した。日本国憲法９条にまつわる問題は日本だけではなく、世界中からも注目されている問題なのだ。
