Hello everyone. I will talk about school killing. A few days ago, the 11 years old girl murdered a classmate's girl with the cutter knife in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture. The cause is considered that the writing to the bulletin board which used the Internet. I want to describe use of the Internet but also after that of this girl and the family of the killed girl. This girl was going to conduct a psychiatric examination. It is highly unusual for a psychiatric examination to be conducted on an elementary school pupil. The examination’s purpose is at uncovering the motive and background to the case, as well as the girl's psychological state at the time of the slaying. After that the girl admitted killing classmate by using the cutter knife to slash her throat in an empty classroom. Under the law, the girl will not be held criminally responsible because she is younger than 14, but she might be sent to a juvenile correctional institution after her trial. What does mean living in a prison on this youth? I hope the prison’s life will find one of answer why she had to kill classmate's girl. Then I want her to squarely face the facts. If it does she will be possible to return to work in the future.
Next, I want to talk about the family of the killed girl. What feeling is the killed girl’s family? Probably, there is no language which comes out. The father of the killed girl said 「It is unthinkable that there is no my daughter now.」 And her father received a letter of apology from the killer's parents but refused to read it.
